The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Introduction to Social Emotional Multi-Tiered Supports and Pyramid Model Practices
Dates and Times:
- September 18, 2025, 9:00 am - 10:30 am
- January 7, 2026, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm (repeat of September webinar)
In this webinar, participants will explore the Pyramid Model - a framework of evidence-based practices that support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of young children. The session will guide attendees through the model’s tiered approach:
- Universal supports for all children
- Targeted interventions for those at risk
- Intensive individualized interventions for children with persistent challenges
Through engaging discussions, video examples, and visual aids, participants will gain practical strategies to foster positive relationships, create supportive environments, and use data to guide decision-making. Emphasis will be placed on promoting children's emotional expression and self-regulation through effective classroom-wide practices. The webinar will also highlight the importance of collaboration among caregivers, educators, and professionals in supporting children who need more. A variety of state and national resources will be shared to help families and professionals strengthen behavioral supports across home, school, and community settings.
