The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:

Let’s Chat About Early Language and Literacy Webinar Series

  • January 10, 2025: Let’s Chat About: Supporting Early Communication
  • January 24, 2025: Let’s Chat About: Building an Inclusive Library for Young Children
  • February 7, 2025: Let’s Chat About: Putting the Fun in Phonological Awareness
  • February 21, 2025: Let’s Chat About: Promoting Emergent Writing with Children

Join the PA Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) and Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA) during the winter months for a series of four webinars on language and literacy development including information on structured literacy.  These webinars will provide resources to share with families and use in classrooms and centers. These one-hour webinars will be offered from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the dates listed above.

Presenters: The OCDEL Early Language and Literacy Team

Credits: Infant Toddler Training Hours, Act 48 Clock Hours, PQAS Credit Hours

Target Audience: This series is designed for anyone working with young children in an early childhood setting.  Information will be appropriate for those working in both Infant Toddler and Preschool settings.
