The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Supporting the Preschool Early Intervention to Kindergarten Transition
Dates and Times:
- Monday, November 10, 2025; 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
- Friday, January 16, 2026; 9:00 am - 11:00 am (repeat of November webinar)
This webinar is designed to support Early Intervention (EI) professionals as they guide families through the transition from Preschool EI to Kindergarten. The session will provide a foundational overview of the transition process, including a review of federal and state regulations, EI announcements, timelines, roles, and responsibilities, as well as strategies and resources to ensure smooth and effective transitions for children and families. Participants will examine the components needed to develop individualized transition plans and reflect upon their local procedures for successful implementation.

Credits: Infant Toddler Training Hours, Act 48 Clock Hours
Target Audience: This foundational session is designed for Preschool EI IEP team members who support the transition from Preschool EI to Kindergarten process.
