The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Teaching More Complex Ways to Play to Young Children with ASD and Other Disabilities

- Friday, March 6, 2026; 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Monday, April 20, 2026; 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (repeat of March 6 webinar)
In this highly interactive session, Dr. Barton will share practical, evidence-based strategies for helping young children with autism and other disabilities engage in richer, more complex play. Participants will be guided through hands-on activities, real-world examples, and opportunities to practice using tools that support play. The webinar will focus on simple, effective techniques that can be used in classrooms, child care settings, and homes to promote engagement, communication, and positive behavior. Participants will leave with ideas they can use right away.
