Teaching Targeted Social Emotional Skills for Early Intervention

- Monday, November 10, 2025; 9:00 am - 11:00 am
- Tuesday, March 24, 2026; 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (repeat of November webinar)
Individualized instruction is used to ensure that children who have social and emotional skill delays receive systematic instruction on those important skills. Through case studies and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to identify developmentally appropriate social-emotional skills and match them with evidence-based teaching strategies. The session will emphasize aligning target skills with IFSP/IEP outcomes/goals, curriculum, and daily routines to ensure meaningful progress. Participants will also practice using data collection tools to document skill growth and monitor levels of assistance, building confidence in making data-informed decisions to support children and families.
