The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Tier 2 Social Emotional Supports: Emotional Literacy
Dates and Times:
- October 2, 2025; 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
- January 22, 2026; 9:00 am-10:30 am (repeat of October webinar)
In this webinar, participants will learn effective strategies for teaching emotional literacy and understand its critical role within Tier 2 Social-Emotional Supports. Through engaging discussions and illustrative video examples, attendees will gain practical tools to recognize and support children's emotional expression and self-regulation. The session will also highlight the importance of collaboration among caregivers, educators, and professionals in creating emotionally supportive environments. A range of state and national resources will be shared to help families and professionals strengthen emotional literacy across home, school, and community settings.
