The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Writing High-Quality IFSP Outcomes and IEP Goals
Date and Time: Monday, September 14, 2026; 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Note: This session is a repeat of the foundational outcome/goal development webinars held in FY 24-25 and 25-26.
This session provides a comprehensive overview of the seven aspects of high-quality IFSP outcomes and IEP goals for Early Intervention (EI) in Pennsylvania. Participants will review the federal and state regulations and EI Announcements that include the requirements for outcomes and goals in EI. The training will teach participants to use the seven aspects to develop high-quality outcome and goal statements. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to examine and analyze sample statements and practice writing high-quality IFSP outcomes and IEP goals, receiving feedback throughout the process.

Target Audience: This session is designed for IT and PS Early Interventionists, educators and direct service providers, EI administrators, and EI Service Coordinators.
