The Bureau of Early Intervention Services and Family Supports is pleased to announce the following training opportunity:
Caregiver Coaching Strategies: Building Caregiver Confidence and Competence

Description of the Training: Coaching caregivers is both an art and a science. This training will begin by outlining the technical aspects of caregiver coaching. The Teaching and Learning Cycle will be reviewed and each caregiver coaching strategy will be defined with opportunities to observe examples through video. The second part of this training will guide participants to practice the different strategies and identify how to match caregiver coaching strategies to the varying needs of caregivers.

Target Audience: Special Instructors, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists who are working in Infant Toddler Early Intervention.
